We have fewer friends than 
we imagine,
but more than 
we know.

We are all inclined 
to judge
ourselves by our ideals,
others by their acts.
* * *
God, grant me the serenity 
to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can, 
and wisdom to know 
the difference.
